Out 'n' About Treehouse Resort

Our 2015 and 2017 Treehouse Trips were so awesome that we're going back in the summer of 2019. Reservations are made a year in advance and open in early July 2018 for Summer 2019. John will handle the reservations, but we need to collect deposits from interested families in advance of making reservations -- reservations require a 50% deposit. Our goal is to reserve the entire complex for two weekends in July or August 2019 (each family attends one weekend or the other). There will be a wait list for this trip, so If you want to join us, follow these steps. But don't delay -- this trip fills up fast.  [See current reservation list at bottom]

  1. Read this entire page.
  2. Fill out the form below to register your interest.
  3. Check to see if there is space available on our Reservation list (see below). We won't accept deposits once we hit 30 deposits collected.
  4. Send in a deposit to hold your place in line - your choice of treehouse will be based on the timing of deposit. I need to make a 50% deposit when I make the reservation, so I'm asking for all interest parties to pay $400 now to hold your spot.
     

The 2019 Trip

We are going to try for two weekends in July or August 2019. The trip will probably be identical to the 2015 Treehouse Trip. We'll drive down to Southern Oregon and the Treesort on a Friday and drive home on Monday (3-night minimum and it has to be Fri-Sun nights). The excursion includes three nights in a treehouse plus a river rafting excursion on Sunday. Estimated cost will be around $800 per family. That's our current best guess. 

Deposit

  • We have to pay a 50% deposit when we book the vacation.
  • This year we are collecting deposits in advance of making our reservation
    (read: John doesn't want to front $10,000).
  • The deposit is paid a year in advance, so our group deposit will be made soon.
  • If the dates we are assigned don’t work for you, we will refund your deposit.
  • Your $400 deposit holds your place - there are only 15 treehouses per weekend.
  • You settle up final cost yourself upon checkout from Treehouses.
  • You send your deposit to John to reserve your spot.
  • The order of deposits received will be used when picking treehouses.

How to make your deposit:

  2. If there are spots available (all thirty spots on Reservation List aren't filled), make a deposit.

  4. John will pay the full deposit to Treehouse People when booking in July 2016..

2019 Reservations & Wait List

Our goal is to have two weekends where we have completely reserved the entire complex. The RESERVED list means families have registered and submitted deposits. WAIT LIST means families have registered online, but we have not received deposits. If all thirty spots on Reservation List are filled, we are not accepting deposits and we'll contact the families on Wait List in order received if spots open up. You can move from Wait List to Reserved by making a deposit if space is available. 

2019 Weekend & Treehouse Reservations

Each treehouse is unique and has different amenities. Therefore we will be holding a "Treehouse Draft" for all attendees to choose their weekend and their treehouse. The draft will be held in order of deposit received (see above list). When it's your turn, you'll receive an email with instructions.
